Lights Test campaign:

Partnership between Osram and the motor trade

Osram is now the official lamp partner for the annual Lights Test campaign. This was agreed today between the German Association for Motor Trades and Repairs (ZDK) and Osram. Osram intends to start straight away and support this year’s campaign.

"Each year, the Lights Test campaign brings about an improvement in road safety", said Dr. Albert Heidemann, Head of the Automotive Division at Osram. "Safety is also a prime concern of ours as a manufacturer of high-quality automotive lamps, and together we hope to achieve great things through this campaign."
 
"In Osram we have been able to bring an experienced partner on board for our Lights Test campaign. We are looking forward to working together", said Rolf Leuchtenberger, President of the German Association for Motor Trades and Repairs.
 
The Lights Test is a community initiative of the German Association for Motor Trades and Repairs and the German Traffic Control Authority. The campaign is being run under the auspices of Dr. Manfred Stolpe, the German Minister for Transport, and takes place throughout Europe every year in October. The Lights Test has now become established as an international campaign and has spread to other countries in Europe.
