More light for HGV
This year, commercial vehicles are for the first time included in what is now the 50th free Light Test organised by the Zentralverband des Deutschen Kraftfahrzeuggewerbes (German Association of Motor Trades) - with OSRAM as the official lamp partner. Daytime running light, the focal point of this year’s Light Test, is increasingly gaining acceptance in Germany because being able to see and be seen is crucial - specifically for the drivers and operators of commercial vehicles.
The Truckstar series from OSRAM provides a range of 24V lamps for almost any Heavy Goods Vehicle. Fleet operators are convinced by the lamp due to its economical benefits: twice the life expectancy of ordinary lamps, with a robust design that also reduces the risk of vibration-related failure.
